Is there a way to change the default no-argument behavior of ssh-add from adding $HOME/.ssh/identity to another type? Thanks, Eric
Upgrade to a more recent version of OpenSSH - the default has been to add all three keys since 3.1, I believe. In openssh-3.4p1 (which has been available since June of this year), ssh-add(1) says: [...] When run without arguments, it adds the files $HOME/.ssh/id_rsa, $HOME/.ssh/id_dsa and $HOME/.ssh/identity.
