[Bug 359] New: passwd -f not working with openssh
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359 Summary: passwd -f not working with openssh Product: Portable OpenSSH Version: -current Platform: Sparc OS/Version: Solaris Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: ssh AssignedTo: openssh-unix-dev at mindrot.org ReportedBy: drruiz at hotmail.com when I issue a passwd -f on one of the user accounts and then attempt to ssh to the same server as that user, I cannot login with the original password or any password for that matter. Howerver, if I log out of the server completly and login from the login screen I will be promted for a new password after I login. When I use telnet, it works just fine. I can ssh back to the server and I am prompted for a new password after I login. I am using openSSH 3.4p1 on Solaris 8.
