I followed the directions in the README.prev and I am seeing this, not having
any issues so far,  but I am getting the following with make install...
/etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key already exists, skipping.
id sshd || \
        echo "WARNING: Privilege separation user \"sshd\" does
not exist"
uid=1011(sshd) gid=102(sshd)

Box specifics...

that's not an error.  you're seeing the debug output.  
immediately after it, the 
uid=1011(sshd) gid=102(sshd)
line indicates that the user actually does exist.
