openssh unix dev - Jan 2001 - SIGSEGV: openssl/openssh

I am using:
OpenSSL 0.9.5a  1 Apr 2000
OpenSSH_2.3.1p1 
OS: NetBSD 1.4.2

I get ssh-keygen errors at runtime:
