[syslinux] The driver of network card is NOT found!
Hi list! I'm having problem booting my computer over the network. This is the message that I receive: "The driver of network card is NOT found!" and "Is this kernel 2.6.25-2-386 too old so it does not support this network card?" My computer is HP Compaq dx7500 Microtower and it has on board Intel 82567V-2 network card. If you need any more informations about the problem please let me know. Any help would be appreciated! Best regards, -- Tomislav Par?ina
Good day Tomislav, You wrote about trouble with Linux not finding a driver for your network card. Since this mailing list is in regards to Syslinux and tftp-hpa, you might have better fortune mailing the mailing list of your Linux distribution, such as Red Hat, Debian, etc. SYSLINUX, EXTLINUX, ISOLINUX, PXELINUX are all boot-loaders which _load_ Linux (and other things!). But the fact that "LINUX" appears in their names may have misled you into believing that this forum would be your best bet for assistance. That is a simple mistake. Good luck with your troubleshooting discussions with your Linux distribution or generic Linux users' group. - Shao Miller
