Hi, I''ve been able to build successfully ImageMagick and RMagick on MinGW. So, I will be able to include RMagick in the upcoming wxRuby-2.0.1 MinGW installer. I''ll add shortly a sample of using RMagick with wxRuby. Cheers. Chauk-Mean.
Hi, Did you BTW managed or planned to also compile ruby-sqlite3 and mysql for MinGW ? (I personnaly compiled ruby-sqlite3 for ruby 1.9.1 mingw32) Cheers, Pascal Chauk-Mean Proum a ?crit :> Hi, > > I''ve been able to build successfully ImageMagick and RMagick on MinGW. > So, I will be able to include RMagick in the upcoming wxRuby-2.0.1 > MinGW installer. > I''ll add shortly a sample of using RMagick with wxRuby. > > Cheers. > > Chauk-Mean. > _______________________________________________ > wxruby-development mailing list > wxruby-development at rubyforge.org > http://rubyforge.org/mailman/listinfo/wxruby-development > >
Hi Pascal, On Wed, May 27, 2009 at 8:20 AM, Pascal Hurni <pascal_hurni at fastmail.fm> wrote:> Hi, > > Did you BTW managed or planned to also compile ruby-sqlite3 and mysql for > MinGW ? >I haven''t tried to build these packages yet. Nevertheless, my motivation in building ruby-opengl and RMagick for MinGW was to provide packages that are closely related with wxRuby (i.e. enabling the display of OpenGL graphics and images transformed by RMagick). At the moment, I don''t plan to add ruby-sqlite3 and mysql packages in the wxRuby MinGW installer as they are too general purpose. It may be relevant to add these packages if there are some wxRuby samples that make use of one of these DB for information storage. Cheers. Chauk-Mean.
