[nsd-users] Request for Information: 1st and 2nd line Unbound Support
To whom it may concern, [With apologies for the possible duplicates and non-technical nature of this message] For the support of Unbound, NLnet Labs is committed to fix security issues, fix implementation bugs, fix general software bugs, and last but not least, carefully assess feature requests. However, NLnet Labs cannot provide the kind of support that is often needed in enterprises or in ISPs. In these kinds of environments errors may occasionally occur that may or not be caused by errors in the software. Errors like this are usually hard to troubleshoot and often need access to the systems on which these errors occur, or even on-site presence. Sometimes somebody will need to be available on a 24/7 basis to provide specialist support. Because of its size and specialism NLnet Labs is not particularly well suited to provide this sort of first and/or second level support to Unbound implementations. NLnet Labs is seeking information about organizations that would be willing and able to provide first and second line support for Unbound and would like to know more about their ideas on organization and cooperation. To that end we have released a request for information that can be found at http://www.unbound.net/RFI-support.html, or at http://www.unbound.net/downloads/RFI-Support.pdf for the PDF version. We would appreciate feedback from organizations that would be interested in cooperation. Please see the Request for Information itself for further details. If you'd be interested in receiving this kind of support we'd appreciate a small note too. Kind regards, -- Olaf Kolkman Director NLnet Labs. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
