dtrace discuss - May 2007 - translators

Hi,
 
when I try to access pr_size or pr_rssize which are of type size_t, I am getting
translator does not define conversion for member : pr_size
 
Why do I need to declare translator if I just need to display the value of these
variables? How to write those translator, any idea?

At present given our VM implementation it isn''t possible to make those
values accessible easily in DTrace because they require a significant
amount of computation and iteration with locks held etc.  Future work in the VM
system will hopefully make us able to observe these values on-the-fly.

another struct, then I need to write translator. Like from int to string
conversion. Any ways, thanks for the input.
 
That will be helpful if documented some where what can not be translated,
because guide does not tell about it.
