dovecot - Dec 2010 - shared boxes

Hi there,
is it possible in any way to have private seen flags for users in a shared
mailbox?
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/SharedMailboxes/Shared says no, but i'm not sure,
if newer mailbox formats
can do this... like mdbox oder something like that.

With Maildir.

The wiki doesn't talk about it in Shared, but does in Public.  I assume 
it works the same way:
