Hi all, Another user posted the same thing a few months back... after contacting them, they said they never got it working. I'm unable to get Pocket Outlook, or FlexMail 2006 working on Dovecot 0.99.13. According to the logs it connects just fine. With Pocket Outlook I'll see the headers for a few seconds, and then it clears and shows nothing. With FlexMail, which is supposed to have fantastic IMAP support (and has tons of options), I just see an empty inbox. Any ideas?? .josh
A further note... First pocketoutlook says "Receiving Headers" and downloads and displays the headers. Then it shows "Receiving Folders", after this is complete, the previous listing of email is gone. I've also tried the workarounds: client_workarounds = oe6-fetch-no-newmail outlook-idle Lastly, when checking the logs, it looks like there are two connections made to the server... presumably one for the Headers, and another for the Folders... Perhaps this is the key? I understand that this is probably a, er, weirdness having to do with PocketOutlook (*and* FlexMail?)... but others report that it works fine with Cyrus and UW... and I'd really rather stick with Dovecot. Thanks again, .josh Josh Burley wrote:> Hi all, > > Another user posted the same thing a few months back... after contacting > them, they said they never got it working. > > I'm unable to get Pocket Outlook, or FlexMail 2006 working on Dovecot > 0.99.13. If it doesn't work with it either, then I'd be interested in looking at what exactly the differences are between Dovecot and another IMAP server. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
