One important fix to avoid double tracking IDs in a single multitouch slot. This can happen if a SYN_DROPPED is received, usually on suspend/resume with fingers on the touchpad. We don't have proper SYN_DROPPED handling in synaptics 1.7.x so this is the poor man's version of it.
