Xapian devel - Apr 2007 - Fixes for omega under Windows

Hi all,

There's been a lot of changes to Omega recently and the Windows build 
wasn't working; I've attached a patch which should fix this. It's
mainly
a lot of changes to use the "safe..." versions of header files.

pid_t and mode_t should be defined by config.h (as they are in
xapian-core).

We need a sane solution to allow using the safe versions of the system
headers in Omega too.  The obvious way is to just copy the files into
omega too but that's not ideal as they'll inevitably slowly diverge.
I'll read the SVN docs to see if we can share a copy in a sensible way.
