Hello all, I've found some discussion of this problem on the AppDB already, but I haven't been able to solve it. Spotify runs fine under Wine but a large amount of the interface is covered in black bars, making it hard to find buttons. It looks thus: [Image: http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/6047/screenshotks.png ] This is a netbook, so the graphics chipset is likely some sort of generic Intel thing. OS is Linux Mint, wine is version 1.3.21 . Any suggestions would be appreciated... I think Spotify just cut Unlimited subscribers out of the Linux port, so it's back to emulation again, unfortunately.

You should upgrade to the latest development release. The second is that there was a known bug in the Intel graphics driver that caused heavy black lines in the UI for a lot of apps. It was around for over a year and just fixed a couple of months ago; if you're not using the 2.16.0 Intel driver, try upgrading.
Regarding the wine version you are using, I have to say that it is about time that you updated it. The DIB engine that your version of wine is having is said to have regressions. Furthermore, make sure that your Intel driver is also updated in order to avoid any bug issues.
