These are several bugs with downloads I reported, please confirm them: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14113 http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15886 http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13316 http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13316 http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15237 http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16380 http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16122

It makes no difference to how quickly the problems will be fixed. Also confirming them involves having another person test them to check that they experience the same bug. There's no need to request that these be confirmed.

As these are reviewed, the problem will either be confirmed or disproved. If a workaround is found, it will also be added to the bug report and Applications Database entry, if one exists. However, it is a good thing that the Ansus did advise that these bugs exist. James McKenzie
Some of them exist for a long time already. Please try and respond if you experience the same troubles, help to triage bugs.

I suggest that in the meantime you write to the software authors and request Linux versions of the software, in fact, of the applications that you have filed bugs for most do have native Linux implementations: LinuxDC++ is a Linux port of the Direct Connect client DC++. https://launchpad.net/linuxdcpp Linux does not need Windows antivirus scanners, but you can use Clam to check Windows executables natively. Mathematica is available for Linux. Kvirc is available for Linux. The Emulator3000 website seems to be down, so I cannot check that for you at the moment. -- Dotan Cohen http://what-is-what.com http://gibberish.co.il ?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-? ?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-??-?-? ?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-? ?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-? ?-?-?-?-?-?-?
I do not need Linux versions of the software. I know that some of these have Linux analogs. I am testing Wine and spend time for finding and roporting bugs. Some bugs affect a number of applications, but I link them to downloadable (and free) applications so other users could test thgese bugs. Instead of writing your comment here you could confirm some of the above bugs and and by that make your contribution to testing.

There is no need to ask/request/beg that they be confirmed. That is and will be the request of those of us that do this work. Unless a bug is denied, you may not know that it was even worked on. Lastly, please be patient. There are very old bugs/problems that need to be fixed as well. James McKenzie
