Hi, I was just wondering if there is any ongoing effort to get wine ported to OpenBSD. The wine version in their ports tree is from 1999 or so. -- Marcel W. Presumably the FreeBSD version isn't full of Linuxisms. - d.

I have no experience installing a port, but it may be helpful to you to look over their customisations to get it working on FreeBSD. (It might also be useful for the Wine developers to see if the freshports packaging contains anything useful to them in curing unnecessary Linuxisms.) - d.
