I have downloaded WinVC 1.0 onto a Windows XP machine with an AMD 450 MHz processor and 256 MB of RAM. I converted an entire CD ripped with EAC to Ogg Vorbis format with the attached DOS batch file, and the tag info looks perfect in Winamp's latest ogg vorbis plug-in. However, after opening any created Ogg file in WinVC, the track # field contains a part of an custom tag that I added through my batch file with oggenc. The exact text that that field contains is: 2 Editing and Mastering via 32 Bit Digital Sound P without the double brackets. This text is part of my custom tag. I have attached the JPG to show this. This problem occurs with any file from that album, and most likely files from my other albums that I've not yet converted to Ogg. Another bug of WinVC is that it freezes when trying to open the 16-minute speech "I Have A Dream". Winamp can open and play that speech just fine, but WinVC hangs and I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del it. <p> -- Philip. <hr noshade> <img src="att-0259/01-winvc_screen.jpg" alt="winvc_screen.jpg"> -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Thanks for the bug report. I think I've fixed both problems which stem from the same bug. I've uploaded v1.02 to the website. Can you please try it & let me know if it fixes both of your problems. http://winvc.stationplaylist.com/WinVC.exe Regards, Ross Levis. <p>Philip M.
