Hi, FrameBuffer has the option "fbcon=rotate:1". Could a similar functionality be implemented in the video driver (VBE?) that is used by Syslinux? Is it legal to copy that code from the FBCon portion into the Syslinux video driver portion? If so, where should I start looking? Thanks for all your help. I'm not a coder, I just replied to your question. As far as I know, there is no bootloader that actually does this... maybe GRUB 2 with some UEFI "magic"... just speculating. Hi Jane, Thanks. GRUB2 uses EFI_GOP which has the same issue - no rotation possible. But FBCon does that with the "rotate=1" parameter. I could copy that portion of code from the Linux drivers (for FrameBuffer) and make it work in EFI_GOP or the syslinux drivers, but if someone could guide me, that would be great. Thanks anyways.
