Syslinux - Sep 2008 - SYSLINUX 3.72-pre7: getting close

I just uploaded SYSLINUX 3.72-pre7.  I'm hoping this will be the final 
3.72 prerelease.  Please test it and holler if something is (still) broken.

    Is localboot still broken or have you not gathered enough evidence of this
issue yet?

(Or, is the recommended chain.c32 method perfectly backwards/forwards
compatible?)

Right. And compiled everything myself. But I had no such problem before.
