I'd like to add a user-friendly menuing system to pxelinux replacing/enhancing the default on the pxelinux.cfg/default Where can I find instructions on how to get started? Regards, Conrad Lawes Sr. Technical Analyst Argon Technology
The recent versions of SYSLinux already include a menuing system. See the menu directory (recent version reqd) for details and examples. - Murali conradl at argontechnology.com wrote:>I'd like to add a user-friendly menuing system to pxelinux >replacing/enhancing the default on the pxelinux.cfg/default >Where can I find instructions on how to get started? > >Regards, >Conrad Lawes >Sr. Technical Analyst >Argon Technology > > > > >_______________________________________________ >SYSLINUX mailing list >Submissions to SYSLINUX at zytor.com >Unsubscribe or set options at: >http://www.zytor.com/mailman/listinfo/syslinux >Please do not send private replies to mailing list traffic. > > > >
I read the README file and the simple.c and complex.c files but I'm still missing the big picture. For example, after compiling the simple.c how does it relate to the pxelinux.cfg/default? How do I glue both together? Maybe you guys(Argon) could make a nice free gui for configuring, building, and uploading Muralis menus, cross platform of course. Or incorporate it into your existing software. Or maybe a web based frontend. -Aaron On Thu, 12 Aug 2004 conradl at argontechnology.com wrote:> > I'd like to add a user-friendly menuing system to pxelinux > replacing/enhancing the default on the pxelinux.cfg/default > Where can I find instructions on how to get started? > > Regards, > Conrad Lawes > Sr. Technical Analyst > Argon Technology > > > >
