Speex dev - Mar 2007 - Adding Speex-channels

Hi, this is a newbie question:

Is it possible to add/mix several (encoded) channels into one?

Or do you have to decode them first, then add, then reencode?

Well, you could always XOR the two encoded streams, but I don't
guarantee the output quality :-)

Yes, but be aware that there's a loss of quality involved. If there's
only two streams, it's sometimes more effective to use a lower bit-rate
and transmit two streams.
