[PATCH][RFC] OpenUPS driver
Hi all, I attached a driver for MiniBox openUPS device ( http://www.mini-box.com/OpenUPS) and a dump of the hid usages. I had the possibility to make a few adjustments to the device firmware for HID usages, and although I haven't managed to produce a good structure many issues from previous firmware were at least fixed and new information added. ATM the driver only shows pertaining

Problems with NUT 2.7.2 on CentOS 7 and using the Mini-Box OpenUPS
Charles, to your specific points : > The other HID drivers seem to trigger shutdown by writing to the various timers (e.g. UPS.PowerSummary.DelayBeforeReboot). Your firmware seems to have UPS.PowerSummary.PresentStatus.ShutdownRequested, which according to the HID PDC spec, is read/write. I wonder if the firmware responds to this? So are you suggesting if I modify openups-hid.c to include

Problems with NUT 2.7.2 on CentOS 7 and using the Mini-Box OpenUPS
I?m a new user of NUT and the OpenUPS - in the past I?ve used APC hardware and apcupsd on Centos 6. I?ve built NUT 2.7.2 from source but used the OpenUPS HID driver v0.4 that?s in github. I?m using firmware version 1.5 on the openups which is the latest published version; I?ve also tried 1.7 which Mini-box sent to me but reverted to the published version. Their support seems a bit slow! I?ve got

CyberPower Value 2200E-GP
I've just set up a CyberPower Value 2200E-GP on a system running Lucid AMD64, with the current NUT package via apt-get, and it seems to be working fine for me with the usbhid-ups driver, so I guess it can go in the HCL? I'm using the system to host several virtual servers under KVM, and to make things simple I set it up to hibernate rather than shutdown, that way all the guest OS

OpenUPS2 support in the HID driver?
Hi, Debug output of driver is attached, started with OpenUPS2 input feed online @ 12V and going offline at 15th second of debug run. Second attached file is debug output of unsuccessful UPS shutdown captured with command: /lib/nut/usbhid-ups -a openups -x productid=d005 -u root -DDD *-k* 2>&1 |tee openups-d005-shut.log I believe input voltage on my earlier upsc run was around 16V,

Tripp Lite SMART1500LCD will not stay shut down when power is disconnected
When running 'sudo upsmon -c fsd' UPS turns off then back on after a delay as expected. But when power is disconnected and the command is ran, the UPS turns off but still turns back on again. Changing 'ondelay' to -1 or 0 does not change the behavior. How can I get the UPS load to stay turned off if there is no power? Or am I misunderstanding how to test this functionality?

Tripp-Lite BCPERS450 shutdown/restart problems
Thanks for your help. From: Charles Lepple <clepple at gmail.com> Date: Mon, 18 Dec 2017 19:26:56 -0500 This may sound like an apples-to-oranges comparison, but we did uncover an issue with CyberPower UPSes where the delay values needed to be greater than or equal to 60 (seconds), since they were being rounded down to integer numbers of minutes internally: What was the largest

Tripp-Lite BCPERS450 shutdown/restart problems
I have a Tripp-Lite BCPERS450, connected to a system running Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS and NUT 2.7.2-4ubuntu1.2. I had to make my own /lib/systemd/system-shutdown/nutshutdown, but now everything is working except for powering on and off the UPS. Regardless of the settings of offdelay and ondelay in upsconf, and regardless of whether the AC power is on, when I say "upsdrvctl shutdown" the UPS

TrippLite SMART1500LCD no delay before ups shutdown.
Hello, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I am setting up a new UPS, most things seem to be working except the UPS turns off immediately during a test shutdown using///"//upsmon -c fsd".//No delay before the UPS turns itself off leaving no time for the server to shutdown properly. I have attempted to set the delay higher using "upsrw -s

Tripp Lite SMART1500LCD repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting
My UPS is connected to a Raspberry Pi by USB. After a few hours of working, the service fails. Looking at kernel messages I noticed that the device is repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting. I have tried using a different USB port and using a brand new USB cable. I have not had success by changing config parameters like pollfreq/pollinterval/etc. What is causing the UPS to keep disconnecting?

persistent "low battery" condition
Hello Nutters, I'm running nut 2.7.2 on FreeBSD 10-stable (via the FreeBSD port) with an APC Back-UPS CS 350 connected via USB. I get persistent (every few minutes) messages logged "battery is low" but I don't understand why. I don't think it's for the reason described in the FAQ (but I'm not 100% sure). In the trace output I can see that
