Configuring SPA-3000 As A Trunk
We have just posted a review of the Sipura SPA-3000 with a complete setup guide for using the device as a trunk to Asterisk. It is easy to setup and works as good as any Zaptel setup and includes an ATA. It really is one cool device! http://www.geekgazette.com/index.php?option=com_content <http://www.geekgazette.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28>

Locate Me Function with freePBX
The client's needs are the mother of invention. We have a client that currently uses a Cisco Call Manager and one of the features they love was the Locate-Me function (or follow-me, or find-me, whatever you want to call it) which basically rings their desk phone a few times then plays a short message, and then rings their other remote phones and cell phones. The customer wants this same

Hello, We are using AstTAPI to make call?s from Outlook and it woks perfect. Our issue is that it doesn?t work so well with our CRM. Although the TAPI line initialization is successful, AstTAPI doesn?t report the Phone Number and TAPI doesn?t know about our extension. Anybody knows how to solve this? Integration of Asterisk with MS Dynamics CRM
Have a request from a customer to integrate Asterisk into an MS CRM environment. From quick research it seems the way to do this is through a CTI interface and it requires 3rd party middleware. I have zero experience with MS CRM, so looking for some tips on if/how this is possible, specifically what MS CRM is capable of. I think it should be possible with a basic TAPI exchange and no need for

persistent C++ objects
Hi, I am trying to create an R interface for Dynare++ [1], a k-order solver for rational expectation models. I would like some advice on how to glue the C++ code to R. In C++, it works the following way: - a DynareModelEq object is initialized with the formulas, parses them and performs k-order symbolic expansions - the user calls a member of this object multiple times with parameter

CTI with MS Dynamics CRM
Hello, Though I spent a couple of hours googling over the net, I still don't have a clear picture on how to do CTI between Asterisk and MicroSoft Dynamics CRM (Online version, if that matters). The features I'm after include: - click-to-dial - screen-pop. Do you have any valuable pointer on this ? Is this simply replying on TAPI ? Regards -------------- next part -------------- An

OT: Windows TAPI command-line driver
Hi, This is a bit off-topic, but still related to telephony. Is there a barebones TAPI driver that exists that would allow me to call up a command line with, as parameter, the number to dial. For exemple, Outlook integrates with TAPI, so that TAPI driver would allow me to call my own app with the phone number as argument. ex when clicking on 555-555-5555: the TAPI driver would call
