Cisco 7960 sccp, Skinny and 1.4
Hi All, I'm thinking of creating a new asterisk server using the latest 1.4 stable release to replace my ageing Asterisk SVN-branch-1.2-r7231 (its been a while!). My only concern - my phones are Cisco 7960's (with sccp firmware 7.2 loaded) and to support them better, I remember compiling in a skinny(?) driver to replace the (from what I could tell) basic in built sccp support. i'm looking for reference guide for Skinny SCCP
Hi all, I'm writing my graduation theses : analysis VO-IP protocols , and I cannot find any documents about Cisko Skinny Client Control Protocol. Clearly i'm looking for description of SCCP commands and explanation some basic SCCP scenarios or what

Asterisk as a skinny/sccp "client"?
I wonder if Asterisk's skinny/sccp channel driver could be used as a "client" to register with a Cisco PBX. That is, along with a SIP client, say, have Asterisk and said SIP client stand in for a Cisco phone, or an IP Communicator. Anyone done this? SCCP (skinny) phone behind NAT: RTP dest addr wrong
Greetings: I have a working configuration for SCCP on our LANS which doesn't route RTP correctly to a skinny phone behind NAT registering from a remote public IP. Configuration: asterisk 1.4.35 servicing only skinny phones trunked to asterisk 1.2.40 which services chan_phone FXS, zap FXO and SIP phones; both instances of asterisk are behind NAT and run on the same host (using different base

Asterisk skinny or sccp as softphone
Hello everyone! Anyone know if there is a way to use chan_skinny or chan_sccp to emulate a Cisco 7960 and talk to the CallManager. I realize it is intended to talk TO the phone, but I'm looking for an SCCP softphone solution (OS X). IPBlue has a client for Windows, yes. So, how much of a stretch can this be? Can't find any info on this anywhere. Tried Wiki, etc. Could someone please shed

SCCP problem with ATA188, Asterisk@home and chan_sccp
Hi, This is a message I already posted on the chan_sccp mailing list, but since this list has a lot of active members, I'm hoping someone might be able to help (And my problem is * related, so I guess it's ok if I post it here also ;) ). I'm trying to get SCCP ATA188s to run with Asterisk. The Asterisk box uses the latest Asterisk@Home image (Version 2.6). I have compiled and

Cisco 7960G, Skinny.conf, and reboots
I could use some skinny/Cisco help here. Was finally able to get the phone registered to * but whenever someone tries to call that phone it freezes and reboots itself. Same thing happens when you pick the handset up off the 7960G; it locks and reboots about 5 sec later. Here is what * shows when I plug the phone in: -- Starting Skinny session from 64.72.107.1 Device SEP000F3442E4A7 is

Skinny (SCCP) help

Cisco 7960 won't dial (sccp)
I'm trying to setup a couple of Cisco 7960's in asterisk. I have asterisk working fine for sip clients, and can call the 7960's just fine, but I can't seem to dial out on them. As soon as I enter the first digit, the phone attempts to dial it without waiting for the rest. I've changed timeout settings, etc but can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas? Asterisk

chan-sccp problem, phone is not registering
Hi list! I'm trying to configure the Kirk IP 600 wireless (DECT) system. The wireless phones are regular DECT phones, the Kirk IP 600 is doing the voip part by registering/gatewaying the phones to a callmanager server. The phones do not work and I think the problem is that they do not register at asterisk but I'm not sure because I don't understand a thing of the sccp/skinny

Cisco 7960 Skinny calling SIP phone
Before I got down the path of converting a Cisco 7960 I have over to SIP I wanted to try and set it up using Skinny. The phone registers ok with Asterisk. When I call a SIP softphone extension on my network the call is made and I can answering it. However no voice is heard over the call. When I debug Skinny on the console after the call has connected I see the following messag: Recieved Alarm

Help w/ Asterisk Cisco IP phone and SCCP
I have a new asterisk installation (1.4.2) that is working fine with SIP. Now I'm trying to add 2 cisco ip phones (7960) running SCCP (latest chan_sccp). I have the phones booted, and the tftp directory all setup, etc. But the phones do not quite work right. When I lift the handset I only get a dial-tone 1 out of 5 or so times I try, though hitting the speaker button works. I can dial

cisco 7960 sccp firmware version?
I have some Cisco 7960's and want to use them with SCCP - I have gotten it working with a few different firmware versions but all seem a little flakey. I know that SCCP is not as solid as SIP but am wondering, which firmware version is advised for use with chan_sccp from http://chan-sccp.sourceforge.net/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Cisco 7960 and Skinny
Hi, I have bought two Cisco 7960 phones. I have tried to set-up them to work with Asterisk over Skinny protocol, but when I try to dial the phone from Asterisk it says that all lines are busy. Is there something that should be configured on the phone's side? Can someone help me with that? Also, I would like to upgrade these phones to use SIP. How can I get the SIP firmware for my phones. I
