Intel 537EP is NOT the MD3200 aka X100P [Re: Intel 537EP chipset, revisited]
It seems the information out there on this topic was confusing enough to cause me to waste a lot of time, and that this topic is rehashed periodically. So now it's my turn.... I had a modem with an Intel 537EP chip on it and thought it might work with the zaptel drivers. Initially, it seemed the only issue would be the PCI device & vendor codes. Then, I ran into the problem that

Need help configuring TE100P and 3 X100Pclonewith MD3200 chipset
This is a system for our lab. I have no problem getting rid of X100P clones. But I am just curious why can they work. Even the drivers are not loading correctly. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Kerry Garrison Sent: Tuesday, May 02, 2006 10:51 AM To: 'Asterisk Users Mailing List -

Need help configuring TE100P and 3 X100P clonewith MD3200 chipset
Hmm, I don't have /etc/modprobe.conf, and wctdm is giving me problems. Which device is it talking about? [root@asterix /]# modprobe wctdm /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/misc/wctdm.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg

Intel 537ep
Owias, The 537 is, for the most part, a drop-in replacement for the Digium card. Please search the archive and the Wiki, as there have recently been several discussions about this exact subject. To my knowledge that is about the only modem that works, but keep in mind it is _not_ supported. That being said, follow the instructions on Digium's site for installing the X100P and you should be

Need help configuring TE100P and 3 X100P clone with MD3200 chipset
I can either get the TE100P working or the 3 X100P clones working, but never both. I have the TE100P connected to a channel bank, and X100P clones to lines from the phone company. This is my zaptel.conf span=1,1,0,d4,ami fxsks=1-24 loadzone=us fxols=25-27 loadzone=us I then do [root@asterix root]# modprobe zaptel [root@asterix root]# modprobe wcte11xp ZT_CHANCONFIG failed on channel

Generic X100P setup issues
I am starting to dip my toes into the asterisk world, and to that end I've scavenged an old PC (this is a home project, and I have basically $0 to spend on it), and installed FC1. I've purchased a clone X100P (or at least I was told it was), and I am trying to get it to work. However, when I try and load the wcfxo module, I get the following errors... [root@loudhoward root]# insmod

wcfxo fails to find Sweex CA000022 - X100P clone
Hi, I'm trying to figure out why my Sweex CA000022 is not detected by wcfxo on my SuSE Pro 9.3 running on a VIA EPIA SP motherboard. The card should work as its an Intel 82537EP based card. When Booting the IRQ assignments for the board indicate: Bus Dev Func Vendor Dev Class 0 20 0 8086 1080 0703 lspci shows: 0000:00:14.0 Modem: Intel Corporation: Unknown device 1080

PLEASE REPLY, are you using an X101P
X101P with Ambient md3200 chip on it, with the zaptel wcfxo driver.... Just an indication of how many people have got this to work would be useful. Cheers Mark.

Modem seemd to work just fine with Linux, but the driver says no;) some more info: Linux 2.4.26 mazuchna:~# cat /proc/pci | grep 536 Communication

X100P Wildcard - Hassle free clone?
Now that the X100P is no longer being offered by Digium, what is the best solution? I seem to have run into a few posts where people talk about problems they've had with their X100P clone cards (dropping calls, echos, etc) other people seem to not have any problems. Of the three chipsets that will work: Intel 537EP, Ambient MD3200, and Motorola 62802 (as seen here

TigerJet 320G Chip / TDM400 Chipset / DAHDI Support
Hi, I'm curious what chip Digium is using in the latest TDM400 cards. Specifically, to my recollection, they used to use the TigerJet 320G, however somewhat recently, Tigerjet was bought out, and now the 320G is no longer produced. Maybe a better question is: is there a way I can take the latest DAHDI source and get a list of supported chipsets from it? Thanks. MCH -------------- next part

Sparc hardware, Linux and X100P REVISITED
I was studying the asterisk-users list archives to learn if anyone has had success with an X100P on a sparc. I noticed some postings on the subject. I am wondering if anyone has learned anything new? I have an Ultra-60 running Gentoo with 2.6.10 and udev. I built * 1.0.5 and have been enjoying various SIP configurations, with 2 sipura phones and 2 UIP200 phones (got them working!) in my home,

zaptel 1.2.22.1 on kernel 2.6.22: wctdm24xxp.ko needs unknown symbol pci_module_init
Hi, Before I report a bug on http://bugs.digium.com, I would like to know if someone is seeing the same error message. Personally I am not using wctdm24xxp but other modules such as wcte12xp and wctdm. The latter modules load fine and are compiled with pci_register_driver as expected. The only module that seems to require the deprecated function pci_module_init is wctdm24xxp. Is this normal?

Source for MD3200 modem cards?
It seems that the Apollo MD3200 winmodem sold my newegg no longer uses the MD3200 chipset. At least the $13 version I ordered arrived with a different chipset. I made them aware of the issue and hopefully they will be changing their description soon. Anyway, I'm looking for a new source now, anyone know where to get these cards cheap? I know there is ebay, but I'm thus far getting sellers

Asterisk with Intel modems 537 or MD3200
I've just give a look to the website http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+Hardware If I understand very well, the Intel modems marked with 537 or MD3200 chipset should work with Asterisk ?! If it is true, I'd like to know how to configure Asterisk ? Thanks a lot. --------------------------------- D?couvrez le nouveau Yahoo! Mail : 1 Go d'espace de stockage pour vos mails,

About nVidia 8600M GS (10de:0425 (rev a1))
Hi, I compiled drm & xf86-video-nouveau to test nouveau yesterday -- the X server couldn't start. Today, Telek pointed me to drm/linux-core/drm_pciids.h, where I added my card. This made nouveau detect my card, and the xerver started successfully. I didn't test further -- for example I didn't compile the mesa nouveau code to enable 3D. So what should I test ? Snark PS1:
