Domain users are loosing there groups after some time. (samba maillist)
Hello, sorry that i didn't answer sooner. (I was ill the last few days.) We didn't resolve the problem yet. But we wonna try to use the patch Micha Lenk mentioned in his post. (https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8523) We think, until the cache problem is resolved, it is better to have no cache then a bad cache. Also i read the posts of the last few days on the list. And i think this is a big problem. When i r...

...t. Only configuring a kernel to get ztdummy.o module running (for MoH and conference). Call queues works great. Only you need little hacking to get information from call queues to the agents. (Agents a brainless peaples by default and it is hard to understand anything from text terminal :)). If you wonna make bigger call center, just get T1 Trunk. > > Thank you for your time. HTB stalling
Hi Couple months ago I started to have a strange problem with HTB. My setup is Fedora Core 2 + Pentium 2 233 + 128 MB of ram and its serving as a router. For some time since going to kernel 2.6 my HTB QoS Stalls for couple seconds, every couple minutes. If the connection load is bigger the stalling is more frequent and takes longer. I isolated the problem to be with HTB (CBQ works fine). The

Dynamically setting up/tearing down extensions
Hello, * newbie here, I'm designing a setup that is to eventually be used in a production virtual PBX/VoIP service. Customers need to be able to change their setups over the web - I want them to be able to do simple things like setting up call forwarding, as well as more intricate stuff that will require me to re-generate their dialplans. Administration of the service is to be

T.38 on a MAX/Lucent/Ascend TNT
Hello folks, I've been trying to get T.38 over SIP working with calls terminated by a MAX/Lucent/Ascent TNT. As far as I can tell, SIP and T.38 are actually working perfectly; however, I can't get the TNT to properly terminate a FAX call. Does anyone have a working configuration for SIP and T.38 for calls from a TNT or APX? Here's a brief description/diagram of my test setup:

Linux router performance
Hi, I wonder about the performance of a Linux box used as router (I guest I''m not the first :). Althought I know it mainly depends on the hardware, I''m trying to find some references on the topic or comparations with other routing solutions (FreeBSD box used as router, Cisco, etc). For example, http://facweb.cti.depaul.edu/jyu/Publications/Yu-Linux-TSM2004.pdf (althought is
