Fw: setting outgoing caller ID by the queue an extension is logged into
...by the extension), and frequently these agents have to make attended transfer calls to outside numbers. This transfer basically amounts to a new outgoing call. I have been asked to set the caller ID for these outgoing calls based on the queue the phone representative is currently logged in to. Unfortunetly I cannot think of a way to do this. The incomming and outgoing calls are two different calls. I have considered using DBPut and DBGet to store this information in a database. This might work, but I am also concerned about the overhead involved. I cannot think of a way to do this using global va...

Hello, I`ve got a problem which I can`t deal with. I own 2 cards - TDM2400P and TE410P. I`ve put them into a HP Proliant DL380 G4 server, compiled the drivers according to the manual. Unfortunetly there are both cards channels are configured in zaptel.conf file the first module (in this file) sends an error. ActiveRecord: Attribute Setter for belongs_to relation attribute
Hi, I m trying to link into the process of setting an belongs_to attribute in my model. Unfortunetly, it does not seem to be as easy as for "normal" attributes. I ve tried the following: class Treatment < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :drug def drug=(new_value) ''my stuff super new_value end However, that does not work. Ive also tried self[:drug] = new_value.....

update_Attributes stale Object error
Hi, IN one of my unit tests I get an ActiveRecord::StaleObjectError: Attempted to update a stale object object.save! in object I have apart from other stuff an after_save method, which calls object.assosication.update_attributes(...) If I remove that line from my code my tests succeeds. Unfortunetly, I do not understand why an update_attributes call can generate an StaleObjectError. Maybe anybody can explain this to me? Thanks a lot in advance. Volker --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on...

Samba as a PDC for W2K Network
...ndows 2000. Here's the deal: We are attempting to setup a Red Hat 7.3 machine (SYMPHONY2) running Samba 2.2.3a to act as a File Server and PDC for a number of Windows 2000 workstations. I have followed the instructions from http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection.html but unfortunetly, that is not working. I've attached my smb.conf file at the end of this email but I'll go through the rest of the stuff now. We setup our Samba machine temporarily on a seperate network, INAVNET2 and that is what we are trying to connect to. From a Windows 2000 workstation (CORP), I try...

Preloading WINS registrations
I have a couple of Samba boxes, one of which is dedicated to WINS. The other I dole out anti-virus stuff to 3,500 odd PCs from. This second one will disappear from the WINS server from time to time which is a bit of a pain. I use nmblookup -R -U <wins_ip> <2nd_box_ip> to test for it. All clients are configured as "P" nodes so WINS is a bit essential. To bring it back I

Right now, we are doing exercises involving using others functions to include into are own program. I'd love to code everything myself , unfortunetly I can not. C and C++ aren't to diffrent, just a matter of syntax. However most of the stuff I am dealing with is advanced in C, such as structs and #defines. On top of that , I am not familar with the ins and outs of M$ Visual C++. If someone has MSVC++ experience and/or Good C Knowledge, I...

RODBC and sqlSave issue
Hello, I contact you after having unsuccessfully asked my question to R mailing list. I use the package RODBC to connect to a MS-SQL server. I am able to getQuery from the database. I am now studying the sqlSave some data into the database. Unfortunetly, I meet some issues relating to the format of the data that arrives into the database. I have three columns. The first one should be in the MS-SQL format "datetime". The second one in the MS-SQL format "varchar(50)", and the third one in the MS-SQl format "numeric(20,8)&quo...

permitrootlogin=no does NOT help
Thanks for replying guys but: The problem I have is this: I cannot turn off telnetd and rlogind for all users in one day - they use rlogin=false for each user ie: chuser rlogin=false root Unfortunetely ssh does not allow access when this is set. I would like to use ssh at first just for root, and then for other users after testing etc. permitrootlogin is a ssh concept, not applicable to

txfax_exec: Transmission loop error
...e in order to use app_txfax with asterisk-1.4. Compiling according to docs went well. However, I'm getting an error after the first page of fax: /usr/src/agx-ast-addons/app_txfax.c:438 txfax_exec: Transmission loop error The (very first) page is transferred perfect anyway. Then app_txfax unfortunetly stops the transmission. Any hints? Regards, Roger.

SWAT and adding users.
Our local LUG (MadLUG, Madison WI USA) is setting up a small Linux Samba server for a local community center. Because much of the day to day administration will have to be done by community center personnel we are going with web based admin tools (Webmin, SWAT). Unfortunetly we have run into a few problems. NOTE: System is a SuSE 6.2 with a new 2.2.12 kernel on a P133, 32MB RAM 1) SWAT does not appear to add a Unix account when you try to add a Samba account. Is this feature missing or are we doing something wrong. Since it is impossible for a user to own files o...

smbspool
Hi, We have unified logons on Linux and Windows clients by using a Windows 2000 AD domain with pam_winbind/nss_winbind on linux clients, the problem is, smbclient and smbspool still require us to enter a password instead of using the logged on users credentials. Is there anyway to pam-enable smbclient and smbspool? Hesham S. Ahmed __________________________________________________ Do You

expected bitrates ?
Fo HDTV sized 422 originals, what kind of bitrates can one expect theora to hit at reasonable quality? Or put another way, what compression ratios can one expect from uncompressed to theora given a target of no significant artifacts, and what kind of peak bitrates would the i/o system require to keep up with the decoder? -JimC --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg

I'm the man (I think :) Unfortunetly, I'm on a Dialup *waits for the boo's to stop* and thus, it would take some sort of time to get things but my school has a T-1 and I could easily transport the HDs their to transfer stuff (I'm in Electronics their, I'm in like flint ;). Fw: modified mankendal
Hi Elham, The error message: Error in if (S == 0) { : missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed means that for at least one S, the value is missing. The best advice I can give you is to load the data frame X1 as in your code above, and try something like: which.na<-function(x) return(which(is.na(x))) sapply(X1,which.na) You will then get a list of the positions of any NA values in X1.
