dreplsrv memory
Hi !
Since few months, dreplsrv is eating lots of memory in few days. Within 2 weeks, the process is generaly OOM killed and replication become weired. I need to restart samba-ad-dc.
Here is my config :
- Samba 4.11.6 / 4 vcpu / 2Go Ram
- 10215 objects (ldbs file = 300MB)
This memory problem only happen on my headbridge DC (star topolgy with 20 DC)

One of my DC is offline because Adsl is down and I can't physicaly reboot modem (Covid confinement) :-/

newbie thinclient env
i have a lot of questions, maybe you've got some answers. I've got the
following setup :
1 central server ( linux ) , 17 servers ( LTSP ) on different locations,
where each server has a number of thinclients connected to it ( max 6 ) The
central server / 17 LTSP servers are on the internet and share 1 VPN (
freeswan ). It would be nice if the 17 LTSP servers could use asterix on one

Issue while upgrading from 4.4.4 to 4.7.7

I am trying to upgrade from Samba 4.4.4 to Samba 4.7.7 and I am facing an
error similar to the one mentioned here -

I'm trying to run a QEMU VM on top of a FreeBSD 7.x server ... I've tried the
exact same setup on my desktop, using 192.168.1.x and an fxp device, and it all
works perfectly, but as soon as I do this on another machine on a public IP,
I'm not getting any routing, I can't even ping it from the same machine ...
