App running fine on Webrick, ActiveRecord::ConnectionNotEstablished in lighttpd
My app runs fine on webrick, but I get a ActiveRecord::ConnectionNotEstablished when I try to run it on lighttpd. Here''s the app''s lighttpd config: $HTTP["host"] =~ "(www\.)?mysite\.com" { server.document-root = "/home/pergesuteore/public/" server.error-handler-404 = "/dispatch.fcgi" fastcgi.server = ( ".fcgi" => ( "localhost" => ( "socket" => "/var/lighttpd/teore.socket", "bin-path" => "/home/pergesu/teore/public...

lighttpd config on os x

What is supposed to happen when you run dispatch.fcgi?
I''ve seen a number of posts where someone says, "What happens if you just run dispatch.fcgi directly?" Every time I do it, I get a "500: internal server error" message. I was just curious if that''s what''s expected running it directly. I assume so, because my apps all work fine, but that''s always bugged me. Pat
