Searching R Packages
Dear Spencer, Nice initiative! I discover a lot of packages not by explicit search, but by running into them. I find cranberries really helpful there, especially the twitter feed (@CRANberries) and also r-bloggers, especially through Joseph Rickert's monthly roundup of new packages. And then of course there is the R journal and JSS, but those speak for themselves. So maybe a 'keeping up to date' section would be nice in the article? Dovecot Proxy
Hello everyone, it's my first post here on this mailing list and I hope, I make it right. I posted a question on https://serverfault.com/questions/1031441/dovecot-as-proxy-with-submission and nobody was able to answer it. So I decided to push that question here (I'm talking about any new dovecot version and I've tested it with 2.3.4.1 (f79e8e7e4)). I try to run a dovecot proxy

Maybe OT, but need help
All, The powers that be are going to buy a win2k server that will have a Compaq TL891DLX tape library. I have been trying to get one for my samba box as well. My question is can I back up the samba box to the win2k tape library? I know that you would have to mount the tape library on the linux/samba box, could this be done through samba? IF anyone needs more info, please let me know. Thanks for

Re-Sharing A Samba Share via Win32 Platform
Lee, If I understand you correctly, you want to mount a Windoze share on your *nix box and share that out to the rest of your users. You need to use smbmount to do this (man smbmount) and then just create a share in you your smb.conf delineating dmask, valid users... Hope I guessed right, if I did not, forgive me.
