Stopping new directory creation ?
...e directories and/or to stop users placing files outside the 3
readymade directories.
Is this at all possible ?
Got a really basic system - Slackware 8.0 and Samba 2.2.8a running purely as
a fileserver for Win2k clients.

Share name must = vaild user?
...required on a share security level )
I have no idea why this is happening. Is this how share level works? Must
shares be named
the same as the username?
