Write failure errors
I run samba 2.0.6 on Sun ultra enterprise 2 server.
Lately the logs have been filled with

[RFC v3 00/45] dma-mapping: Use unsigned long for dma_attrs
Hi,
This is third approach (complete this time) for replacing struct
dma_attrs with unsigned long.
The main patch (2/45) doing the change is split into many subpatches
for easier review (3-43). They should be squashed together when
applying.
*Important:* Patchset is *only* build tested on allyesconfigs: ARM,
ARM64, i386, x86_64 and powerpc. Please provide reviewes and tests

SOLVED: Roaming profiles not updating XP
I have run into the EXACT problem; I also may have the solution; I wish I could give you a technical describtion, but I can't. All I know is what worked. Go into Services in the administrative panel of Windows XP and set any service relating to nVidia to Manual startup instead of Automatic. This does not interfere in anyway with any of nVidia's functions in my experince. You can also

What triggers a make_user_info_map
We have a quite large samba installation/domain spanning 4 campuses with a
DC/LDAP on every campus.
On one campus, one big computer-lab behaves a bit strange. All the computers
connects to the DC every 2-3 minutes or so and triggers a make_user_info_map
mapping 100-300 or so username's to RID's.
This places high load on the LDAP-server.
It doesn't matter if anyone is logged on.
