...pe to do correclty ... :D On Ubuntu 8.10 , WINE 1.1.8 I installed a MDB application ( Access ). I havent installed on wine directory MS ACCESS but I installed Access RunTime ( MSART , without problems in installation ) , and tried to run . I got a message " Ca't load dynamic-link library msjet40.dll" . Reading some post I installed MDAC 2.8 and re tried but I got same error . [Evil or Very Mad] Some help please , can anyone drive me to solve this issue ? It is the first time I am tring to do something with Wine . Thanks to anyone .

I have a homeschool program called Edu-Track which keeps track of schedules, grades, etc. At first it wouldn't open at all under WINE, I fixed that using winetricks and msjet40: Code: wget kegel.com/wine/winetricks sh winetricks msjet40 Now the program opens and I can log in, but it freezes after that. I'm new to this, so I don't know how to get debug information. How do you do that? I'm running Xubuntu 10.10 and Wine 1.2.1. Thanks!

...d it. Installation was OK. When I want to create blank database, there is this error: "Microsoft Access can't load the dynamic-link library mswstr.dll. You need to resolve the failure and start Access again." When I wan't to open existing database, there is the same error but with msjet40.dll library. However, these libraries are in System 32 directory. I tried to download these libraries from internet and replace old one by libraries I've downloaded. Dear All I am using Wine 0.9.15 on Fedora Core 5 in connection with WineTools. However, when I create a new database on MS Access (from MS Office2000), I get the following error: "The Dynamic Link Library msjet40.dll could not be located". So, I cannot use MS Access under Wine.
