I think that other link I sent to the sample nut.conf has all of the possible values there - not sure what happened to those comments in your original file.

puzzle, need magic incantation
...were when I did the sudo make install, but I
am forced to go into the docs directory and a man ./name-of-man-page to
read it, and mode is only mentioned briefly in the example line which
shows mode=none. That is a 10-33 torr suckage.
This I think can be alleviated by setting up the env variable MANPATH,
which is not apparently configured. Export that and it works. So put it
in my .bashrc
But since every other manpage on the system works without that env setting
of $MANPATH, showing "/usr/local/ups/share/man:/usr/share/man" when
queried now, why should i have to do it for nuts man...

Is there a way to install devtoolset packages without the bloat of eclipse?
I just want the new compiler and toolchain, not a big IDE.
BTW devtoolset-3 dependencies are broken in yum with C6

polarcypto and tsi libraries, needed in Wine
Doe anyone know where I can get
PolarCrypto.dll and
TSI.dll
libraries from so that I can load them through Wine on my Mac.
I was lucky enough to get other libraries that I was missing from Winetricks but still need these last two. I get error messages that they are needed when I try to load TroopMaster 2010 application through Wine on a Mac. Thanks

PS: People using ZSH will find the following completion script very handy in
conjunction with the above, as it provides tab-based completion for manpages:
# Manual page completion
man_glob () {

read -cA a
if [[ $a[2] = [0-9]* ]] then
reply=( $^manpath/man$a[2]/$1*$2(N:t:r) )
else

One more try at nut, this time on debian 7.8 (wheezy)
Greetings Charles;
I eventually gave up making it work on ubuntu-10.04.4 LTS, and that drive
is slowly curling up its toes, so I am running wheezy on a fresher drive
now.
I have installed all the nut stuffs from the repo, and now have two more
scripts in /etc/init.d called nut-client and nut-server.

Installing manpages?
Hiya! How do I, from a source install, make the manpages install? I've
got 2.2.5, and have hand-compiled for ages, but have no idea how to, as
part of the build process, install the manpages.
Thanks,

The ssh-agent.1 man page seems to have an indentation oddity, at least, as
formatted with recent Arch linux manpage toolset. Here's what appears in
the formatted output just after the description of the the "-t" option:
