directory does not exist?
...n brought up before but i searched through the last
few months of archives and i couldn't find any mention of it. I've been
having this problem in debian unstable for the past few months and it's
seriously got me within 2 inches of deciding to invent a way to make
computer programs feal pain. For some reason (my all anonymous access)
setup only lets you see the top level of a share and says all the
directories in it do not exist when you try to enter them. I didn't
change the permissions of these directories since it worked so I take it
either it's something to do...

windows to linux printer problem

My setup is the following:
One XP box, Named kim1
One Redhat 7.3 Box named jerry
Network Name MSHOME
Printing useing cups software
printername local
ip subnet 192.168.0.0
samba version 2.2.3a
Might be overkill on info might not be enough, if more info is needed

Debugging Samba is a total PITA and this needs to improve
Once again, something with Samba thirty bazillion components broke. Once
again, my choices for logging are "nothing" or "15 MB/s spread of ten
different files, because 'client authentication failed' totally needs to
be lower priority than malloc debug info". Once again, none of these
messages is actually able to convey what broke, where, why. Why is it
