CentOS-4.4: I likke the new look! ... uh and everyhing's good too.
Downloaded 290/290 and kernel panic, not syncing. Same old Linux. Fortunately, hadn't started updates, /home had been unmounted by some forward-looking individual and there was a sync;sync and blockdev -- flushbufs running every 15 seconds. =>:-o Pucker factor went from {O} to {o} to }{ the max! Anyway, a quick reboot, fsck, split the check-update into 2 arbitrary pieces and do it again.

Yes I have installed real mpg123. Yes, it does seem to work from the command line. Any suggestions would be greta, I'm sire

Frequent crashes - drives me nuts .....
Hi, i've already setup lots of samba boxes. Mostly large servers as PDC's or as domain members in large networks. No real problems far. A friend asked me to update a small network (3 Win 98 boxes and two Win 2000 boxes) from samba 2.0.6 on an ancient version of linux to samba on suse 8.2. The Win98 boxes use a login script to get their shares mounted the Win 2000 boxes have their shares

IMQ problems :-(
Hi I have built a custom TMB Mandrake kernel (2.4.22) with IMQ and ESFQ support. I statically compiled both (mistake?) ESFQ is sorted and working fine (I have succesfully patched IPROUTE2). I have got to the stage where I can see the IMQ device as UP with ifconfig. I can use TC to add QDISCs to the IMQ device. However I just cannot sort out IPTABLES to actually redirect packets to the IMQ

Weird quirk with ingress policing
Hi, I notice that if two or more existing connections match an ingress policing filter, the input bandwidth does not get evenly divided up between the n connections. Kinda like litters of baby animals, where the stronger babies get more access to the mothers teats and grow up bigger and faster than their siblings. The only workaround that''s working for me is to set explicit ingress

Calling R functions in Delphi
Hello All, We would like to call quantile() function from the R-package STATS in a Delphi program. If this is possible, could anyone provide us with an example? Reverting from 2.0. to 1.2
Hello Timo, I switched this morning from dovecot-1.2.12 to 2.0.8 with a basic setup (high performance login mode, Maildir, everyhing on NFS, one shared but unused namespace). No problem so far except that some Thunderbird users who wouldn't succeed in moving messages from some one folder to another. They'd get a message about some illegal character in the mailboxname (already existing

stdout flush
Dear all, I compiled openssh-3.9p1 against uClibc on linux, and when I logged in to a system using this openssh, the /etc/motd didn't appear. I have checked everyhing, and made some debugging. As I have seen, session.c prepares the environment, and invokes the user's login shell, but before the execv() call, does not flush the stdout. And if I made it do to it, it began to work. I dont

Accountcodes
I'm trying to use accountcodes, but experiencing inconsistant results. I have two * servers, one which appears to be working as expected and one not. I would like to prepend the device's accountcode to the dialed number. The sip1 server does not seem to have the ${ACCOUNTCODE} variable set when reading the extensions.conf, but sip2 server does. What troubleshooting or trace

Routing packges by destination port
Hello all, After many time reading a lot of stuff I am quite confident using LARTC to route my trafic. I am still working on QoS (by package type and so on) but it will stay in my studing class for a long time... ;) So lets go to my question... I mounted a router that makes my conections throug 2 external interfaces. Its working fine and my default gateway for entire network behind

Here's a direct scenario (working fine): [pbx000001] exten => 101,1,Set(__TRANSFER_CONTEXT=pbx000001) exten => 101,n,Dial(SIP/pozitel/37129238254,45,t) exten => 102,1,Dial(SIP/12345,60) so, when user calls ext
