[Samba] Removing Printer Driver on Samba 2.2.5 using rpcclient
Hi All. Can anyone give me a hand here? I'm trying to remove some printer drivers from my samba server running on FreeBSD 4.6 using rpcclient. 'enumdrivers' shows: rpcclient $> enumdrivers [Windows 4.0] Printer Driver Info 1: Driver Name: [hp deskjet 930c series] [Windows NT x86] Printer Driver Info 1: Driver Name: [HP DeskJet 930C Series] Printer Driver Info 1: Driver Name: [AGFA-AccuSet v52.3] Printer Driver Info 1: Driver Name: [hp deskjet 930c series] rpcclient $> But when i try to delete a driver it gives me an error: rpcclient $> deldriver "AGFA-AccuSet v52.3" Failed to remove driver AGFA-AccuSet v52.3 for arch [Windows 4.0] - error 0x705! Also, where are the printer driver details stored? I read somewhere that it was in printers.tbd but i can't find this file anywhere? [Samba] Removing Printer Driver on Samba 2.2.5 using rpcclient
Sorry to reply to my own message but i found the 'printers.tdb' (Well actually /var/lock/ntdrivers.tdb and /var/lock/ntprinters.tdb) deleted it and started again. So, problem solved!
