rsync - Feb 2008 - two errors with 3.0.0pre9

On MacOS X 10.4.11 PPC

(don't ask me why the two --exclude)

I get these two error messages (maybe more):

the source volume was set to support ACLs, the target (and  
compare_dest obviously) volume was not... I could not find any acl  
entry in the source near where the error happened, but with  
incremental transfers I am not sure where it did happen.

  I have another volume still not set for ACLs, so I could do another  
test, but it cannot be exactly the same. I will keep that clean in  
case you have an advice on how to do this test again. I am not sure  
enabling ACLs on a volume (by fsaclctl) is a totally reversible action.

The error 0 might have been due to a failure of the mbr_[ug]id_to_uuid()
function in sys_acl_get_info() -- the code was not checking the return
value of those calls.  I have checked in a fix for this.  If that is
what is failing, then the errno value should be preserved now.

Seeing "not supported" failure messages when the receiving filesystem
does not support ACLs is to be expected with the --acls option.  The
file that has the ACL info should be the one mentioned in the error.
I'm not sure why you didn't find an associated ACL with that file,
though.
