Hi, I was designing a secure portal for online marketing. I am using RedHat 7.0. I installed the apache-1.3.12-25 with mod_ssl-2.6.6-25 and openssl-0.9.5a-14 that come with the package. I manage to set-up the box running on https by following the instruction from http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-7-Manual/ref-guide/ My problem now is when my client accessing the portal using dial-up modem, they facing problem to display the secure page. When they accept the pop-up cert, they will be hang for a while and see the error ''the page cannot be display''. Did anyone face this problem before? If yes, can you share the solutions with me? Are there any additional configuration need to be set that not stated in the document? I''m running Dell Power Edge server PIII 1GB Server and 2GB RAM. For your information, the cert is self generated test cert ( we will proceed to buy a genuine cert if the secure server is working fine) and we had estimated 28000 client. The weird thing is the client manage to see the normal http page without any obstacles. Thank you. Emanduel Chan Tain Por
