Hi, I want to create a panel slider like shown on maps.google.com (click the little triangle on the left side of the map (in the vertical- middle)). I tried several scriptaculous treasure chest thingies .. but they didn''t work. Does anyone know of a way to do this? have a look at the slider functional tests in scriptaculous. you can create all sorts of sliders with slider.js. best, thomas Am 26.02.2007 um 18:11 schrieb joost:> > Hi, > > I want to create a panel slider like shown on maps.google.com (click > the little triangle on the left side of the map (in the vertical- > middle)). > > I tried several scriptaculous treasure chest thingies .. but they > didn''t work. See here (based on Scriptaculous ) http://www.slippymap.com/combined.html On Feb 27, 2:09 pm, Ken Snyder <kendsny...-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org> wrote:> joost wrote: > > Hi, > > > I want to create a panel slider like shown on maps.google.com (click > > the little triangle on the left side of the map (in the vertical- > > middle)). > > > I tried several scriptaculous treasure chest thingies .. but they > > didn''t work. Thanks for all the help! The best way seems to use (like Ken said) the Move function. Since otherwise I get the same problem as on slippymap.com..that the content doesn''t move with the sliding.. The problem I''m now facing is that the map should stay still in the map_container.. but this seems to be more of a question for the googlemaps group :).
