We are looking to add experts to our fast growing managed service practice that provides access to a research platform and selected commercial medical observational data bases. Preferred locations are Boston and Philadelphia Roles and Responsibilities: Assist clients in the use of the research platform and data, providing technical support to client researchers who want to use the research platform and data bases to develop and run statistical analysis programs. Assist client statisticians and programmers in optimizing their programs using a wide range of data mining and statistical techniques. Ideal Skill Requirements: At least three years of experience working with a Life Sciences or Health Care organization research?team using observational as well as clinical data and 3 ? 8 years in using SAS and/or R to analyze large claims and electronic medical record data bases for safety and /or outcomes and economics research. ? Experience with Base SAS, SAS/STAT, and R is also required ? Helpful to have experience with SAS/GRAPH, SAS Visual Data Discovery, Oracle and Postgree SQL as well as UNIX scripting ? Helpful to have experience with one or more of the following data bases: Thomson Reuters Mediscan, GE, i3 and GPRD data ? Knowledge of the common data models and methods developed by the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership is a plus. ?
