Puppet users - Nov 2009 - Using before=> in a definition...

I hope I haven''t dug myself into a corner here... How can I make sure
that /some/file.xml is created BEFORE the jboss-tfel0 service is
started?
I can''t use before => in the file{} in the jboss class because it
doesn''t exist there.

define create_jboss_inst($inst, $version, $naming_port) {
    ....
    service {
        "jboss-$inst":
            require    => [ Package["jboss-server"],
Package["jboss-server-$inst"] ],
            ensure     => running,
            enable     => true,
            hasrestart => true,
            hasstatus  => true
    }
    ....
}

class jboss {
    ....
    file {
        "/some/file.xml":
             source => "puppet://$server/jboss/conf/some/file.xml"
    }
    ....
}

jboss_inst { tfel0: inst => "tfel0", version => $jboss_version,
naming_port => "1099" }

why not?

try:

   ....

           enable     => true,
           hasrestart => true,
           hasstatus  => true
   }
   ....
}

class jboss {
   ....
   file {
       "/some/file.xml":
            source => "puppet://$server/jboss/conf/some/file.xml",
            before => Service["jboss-$inst"],
   }
   ....
}

I think this is what you already had and this is working. If it doesn''t
please send the error you get.
