[Puppet Users] Public git repos of Puppet Modules configuration sets
On http://puppet.reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/Recipes are currently listed two complete sets of puppet configurations: the remarkable David Schmitt''s Complete Configuration: git clone git://git.black.co.at/manifests davids-manifests the Lab42 Puppet Infrastructure I''m working on (alpha stage, nothing is definitive): git clone git://live.lab42.it/puppetinfrastructure I''ve not added other sources that I''ve seen around, since they are not yet linked in the puppet site, but I think it would be useful and interesting to have a centralized list of public puppet configuration sets. This may be interesting both for seeing how others have faced the same problems and for having some substancial ground to consider and evaluate for developing a community common module infrastructure (discussed in other posts). So, if you have a public git repo (or whatever kind of repository) with a complete puppet configuration set, please post it here: the collected links may be then summarized in the wiki. Some of them are based on DavidS'' one, however many may have a lot of changes to fit our needs or to simply support more distributions. There have been also some contributions of other people using it, which might be mentioned in the init.pp or README (where is one) file. However I''m currently in progress of moving them on github, so every time I''ll edit one, you''ll find it as well on github. greets pete --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
