Hello, it seems I''ve hit https://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/ticket/831 with puppet stable 0.23.2 . I''ve just created the simplest setup to get puppet running. puppetmasterd runs in the foreground. (-verbose) As the client connect to the server, the following err-msg is logged: puppetd --server myserver --waitforcert 60 --test --verbose err: Could not retrieve configuration: Could not find XXX.YYY with names XXX.YYY XXX warning: Not using cache on failed configuration puppetmasterd logs the same: err: Could not find XXX.YYY with names XXX.YYY XXX How is an external node source created? Can this error occur on a misconfiguration of my server / client ? regards, frank
