Do Laptops with AMD Pacifica or Intel VT support already exist? If yes, which ones? regards Bernd This message posted from opensolaris.org
Intel MacBook Pro and I believe MacBook do. Actually IIRC anything with an Intel Core does. AMD Pacifica is only available in the new Athlons using Socket AM2 AFAIK. Opteron support should show up with Socket F, hopefully. I haven''t tested it with Xen but everything seems to indicate that it will work. It''s only a 32 bit processor so you''re limited to 3 GB of usable memory in the laptop even though they have a 4 GB RAM option available. Ed Plese
