All, We are pleased to announce the release of OCFS2 1.2.2. This release includes some recent fixes, including bugzilla#723 <http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=723>. (Users running 1.2.1-3 are encouraged to upgrade to 1.2.2.) With this release, OCFS2 now detects nodes having different heartbeat timeout values (O2CB_HEARTBEAT_THRESHOLD). Check dmesg after mount(s) to look for errors suggesting the same. Multipath users are encouraged to refer to the FAQ for more on this parameter. Also, new with this release are the largesmp packages for the x86-64, IA64 and PPC64 architectures. On the documentation front, support guides have been added. These guides are not end-user documentation but are directed towards users interested in digging deeper into the product. The top three issues reported by users are also listed on the OCFS2 home page. Al always, if you have any questions, please email the ocfs2-users mailing list. I do not see this mentioned in the FAQ or the Users Guide. Is there any documentation on this new feature? Thanks. /Brian/ -- Brian Long | | | IT Data Center Systems | .|||. .|||.
