Hi, I am facing the following errors when I run the configure from the source: =======checking for an ANSI C-conforming const... yes checking for debugging... yes checking for directory with kernel build tree... /usr/src/linux checking for kernel version... none configure: error: Could not determine kernel version. =======Linux linux2 2.6.9-5.0.3.EL.orafw1smp #1 SMP Mon Mar 7 22:29:31 PST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux the patch /usr/src/linux does not exist. I see /usr/src/kernels there. Regards, MV

specify the path to the kernel src hdrs during configure: --with-kernel=/usr/src/kernels/.... Better still, abandon the firewire kernel and use the firewire module instead. You could use the module with a standard kernel and no longer have to build the ocfs2 module.
