[Nut-upsuser] KIN-1500AP RM + Windows 2008 64-bit Standard R2 SP1 (nut 2.6.1)

I have only RS-232 on the box (meanwhile, it was manufactured on march of
2011)
Here is my configs:

After start I can see couple neutral events:
upsd.exe - listening on 192.168.1.2 port 3493.
upsd.exe - User monuser at 192.168.1.2 logged into UPS [KIN1500].

Also, there are a lot of errors, such as "upsmon - Poll UPS [
KIN1500 at 192.168.1.2] failed - Data stale."
Anybody, please advise how to get it works.

Fred (the Eaton guy that made the windows port) is still on holiday for a
week, but I'm sure he will be pleased to assist you when he's back.

AFAICT, your 'port' definition seems wrong, since powercom is a serial
driver (confirmed by your RS232 unit).
but I'm not sure about the exact value: windows style (ie COM1) or
linux/mingw style (/dev/ttyS0).
I would recommend to try both, in the above order.

the 'data stale' msg you're seeing are simply indication that the
driver
failed to start (and there should be some notification in this case @Fred)

you may also start the driver alone, from a DOS shell, to see what's going
on:
$ /path/to/powercom.exe -DDD -a KIN1500

and report back your findings.
