[Nut-upsdev] UPS driver for Online USV-Systeme Zinto A
Hi, I have received documentation about the protocol of the Zinto A UPSs by Online USV-Systeme and wrote a driver to monitor and configure my UPS. This is based heavily on the blazer driver, so I kept credit for this in the new source code, which I hope is ok the way I did this. I have added a man-page and updated the HCL as well as the lists of variables. Attached is an "svn diff" against the svn tree as of 2011/06/01 08:15 UTC. [Nut-upsdev] UPS driver for Online USV-Systeme Zinto A
2011/6/1 Christian "Eddie" Dost <ecd at brainaid.de>> Hi, >Hi Eddie, I have received documentation about the protocol of the Zinto A UPSs by> Online USV-Systeme and wrote a driver to monitor and configure my UPS. This > is based heavily on the blazer driver, then, you should look into extending blazer, since it somehow has a sub-driver notion to address the various implementation differences. The less drivers, the better... Arjen, the blazer* author, will probably jump on this thread when he has some spare time. In order to help, you should identify the differences that made you choose this driver as a base. cheers, Arnaud -- Linux / Unix Expert R&D - Eaton - http://powerquality.eaton.com Network UPS Tools (NUT) Project Leader - http://www.networkupstools.org/ Debian Developer - http://www.debian.org Free Software Developer - http://arnaud.quette.free.fr/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
