https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74710 --- Comment #2 from Emil Velikov <emil.l.velikov at gmail.com> --- Hi Tobias Initial mode-setting support for nv108 has been added in 3.13, with pgraph (read opengl) landing in 3.14. Give those a try but note that gl support may not be a smooth experience as expected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [Nouveau] [Bug 74710] [NV108] GT 730M: unknown chipset
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=74710 Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary|GT 730M: unknown chipset |[NV108] GT 730M: unknown | |chipset --- Comment #3 from Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- 3.13+ should provide modesetting, 3.14-rc1+ should provide the pgraph fw required to do 2d and 3d acceleration. The mesa driver is known to be very buggy for it (and I've yet to hear someone actually confirm that it uses the gk110 shader isa... if it uses the 'regular' nvc0 isa, then after a couple of small fixes, mesa will be much less buggy). You probably don't need to use bbswitch if you have runtime pm enabled; the card should get automatically powered down by the driver. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
