Hello everyone,
I've been poking away at my Debian packages of icecast, ices2, and
libshout, and I've now got them to a point where I think they're ready
to be included in the CVS. The packages have been included in Debian
upstream for some weeks now, and have been reviewed and tested fairly
rigorously. Jack and Ralph have already set me up with a CVS account.
I've been as minimal as possible with everything I've done, but there
is one small set of changes necessary to include the debian/ directory
in the distributed tarballs. The trivial 'cvs diff' follows:
Index: Makefile.am
==================================================================RCS file:
/usr/local/cvsroot/libshout/Makefile.am,v
retrieving revision 1.21
diff -r1.21 Makefile.am
6c6
< SUBDIRS = include src examples doc
---> SUBDIRS = include src examples debian doc
Index: configure.in
==================================================================RCS file:
/usr/local/cvsroot/libshout/configure.in,v
retrieving revision 1.65
diff -r1.65 configure.in
169c169
< AC_OUTPUT([Makefile include/Makefile include/shout/Makefile
---> AC_OUTPUT([Makefile debian/Makefile include/Makefile include/shout/Makefile
I just wanted to make sure this is alright before committing, per
Ralph's request when my account was created. This change would apply
to each of the three modules. debian/ in each module will include a brief
.cvsignore and a minimal Makefile.am with an EXTRA_DIST listing the
packaging files. This is consistent with the debian/ practice implemented
on the ogg and vorbis modules.
Thanks,
- Keegan
